It has been so rainy and we have been trying to think of things to do. This was a pretty good day. Ava dressed up and I took pictures. This was the best one ( I thought).
This is our April Fools dinner. Dessert for Dinner and Dinner for Dessert. Spaghetti "cake" and for dessert "Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes" it was really rice krispies and icecream and caramel. MMMMMMMM
I don't usually have this much time to explain pictures but this one needs an explanation. --Ava keeps telling me what she is doing and doesn't think she needs to ask. For example Ava says to me 'I'm going to my friends' and then she begins to leave when I say 'Actually, we are leaving to gymnastics' and then the battle begins. Brad took this picture after some tears at dinner because Ava announced her plans to leave and begins to leave when I say that we are having dessert now. She fusses and crys and I tell her that she needs to appologize for her attitude. She comes and gives me a big hug and says "I forgive you". Priceless
I took this picture for all of those friends who knew Mikey as a little baby. So innocent, So precious, So quiet compared to his sisters. Mikey is trying to climb into a bathtub after unrolling a tp roll and getting into my hair things. I guess I only got 11 months good behavior with this one. Sigh.

Your April Fool's dinner/dessert it AWESOME! I'm such a boring mom. I never do anything for April Fool's. Maybe next year. I won't be working then....

well...it was just a matter of time, I guess...but wasn't it nice while it lasted?! It's a good thing you are an expert child-proofer!
