They moved a couple chairs around and put up some light and renamed the O Club "The Landing" But hey, with the grand opening they decided to have a concert. The Gin Blossom concert was definitely the coolest thing going on at Fort Rucker on Friday night, so of course we were all over it. Brad loved the opening act because he was having flashback moments to his band in high school/college. He was the singer (front man...major hot!) These are some pics from the floor when the Gin Blossoms took the stage.

Ok the lead guitarist was hilarious. He had that classic "drug-head-has-been" look on his face. I'm suprised he was playing so well because he looked so burned. At one point I did look over and I saw him sining along to one of the songs they were playing and oh...he wasn't even singing the right words hahahaha. Love the videos. They covered Rocket Man and everyone was singing along with Hey Jealousy. Maybe Fort Rucker's not so lame after all.

The boys from Claudia could show them a thing or two, huh?! I miss those days- good times. "After this gig let's go skim-boarding!"
I was teasing Chris that I was going to slip on down to the grand opening and to see the Gin Blossoms by myself. hehe He didn't find me as funny as I found myself. He took the older three to see G-Force. What a stick in the mud, right?
I like that "The Landing" is now the coolest place on Post. I feel bad I missed the Gin Blossoms. All of us 30-somethings could've enjoyed high school flashbacks together.
