What you're looking at is my Solar Oven! I know, totally cool, and now you want one too! Well it is made of: A dutch oven, placed in a turkey baking bag, on top of a car windshield cover. Yep! That's it! I thought this was so totally cool that I just had to try it out. Regular bread dough and 2 hours later... baked bread. Thanks Sarah for all of your input and hard work. You did as much as I did. Completely solar and completely awsome!
The bread doesn't brown like in the oven because it's not exposed to the sun in the dutch oven but it still tasted great! I made a sandwich tonight with the solar bread and a tomato from my garden. It was yummy.

I TOTALLY want one!! I'm becoming more domestic so maybe I'll try this.
I LOVE this idea! We recently bought a Dutch oven, so I think I'm going to try this some time this summer. Mikey's train table is great! It sure beats the way we store our train set....all over the floor, most of the time. Daeli is such a cutie. Is she still your little goat, eating everything that she can find? How handy it is to have some strong muscle handy to move the fallen trees. Good pic!
